In this exciting ensemble, Jitka Vlašánková, cellist of the world renowned Martinů Quartet joins prize-winning duo Angus Meryon (clarinet) and Richard Saxel (piano). They have given highly acclaimed performances at the Atrium Zizkov in Prague, at St.David’s Hall in Cardiff and at St. Peter’s Church in Wallingford, and have a busy concert schedule for 2010. The Meryon Trio are featured as selected artists in the 2009 / 2010 Concert Promoters Network brochure, and have the following engagements booked through the scheme. Weymouth Music Club - 28th February 2010 Live at St. Wilfrid's - 6th March 2010 Luton Music Club - 8th March 2010 Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire Music Society - 23rd April 2010 Hoylake Chamber Concert Series - 24th September 2010 South Holland Concerts, Spalding - 25th September 2010 Later in the 2010 season they will be performing at Biggar, Beith & Lockerbie in Scotland, as well as for Harris Music Club, Preston, and in 2011 at Minehead and Curry Rivel.
